Gas Boiler Services - what's included?

  • Pressure test carried out on all gas pipework at the property
  • Visual inspection of the flue joints, ensuring it is secure and brackets are fitted
  • Draining down the boiler for servicing
  • Flushing the main heat exchanger (condensing models)
  • Removal and cleaning of the condensate bottle/trap
  • Repressurising the boiler's expansion vessel to maintain good system pressure
  • Removal and cleaning of magnetic system filter (if fitted)
  • Checking of all internal seals and joints within the boiler
  • Firing the boiler and checking the working gas pressure as per the manufacturer's instructions
  • Completing combustion test with flue gas analyser (printouts can be provided)
  • Checking carbon monoxide alarm is fitted and operational
  • Any other system checks required
  • Complete boiler service paperwork 
  • Gas safety certificate provided with every service
