Oil Boiler Services - what's included?

  • Removal and cleaning of baffle plates from boiler
  • Checking the condition of the boiler's lid and door insulation 
  • Cleaning out of combustion chamber
  • Removal and inspection of burner nozzle
  • Cleaning of photocells and fan
  • Re-sealing of flue joints if required
  • Checking condition of oil flexible hose and fire valve
  • Visual inspection of the oil tank, oil line and fittings for any leaks
  • Removal and cleaning of oil filter
  • Firing the boiler and checking oil pump pressure is correct
  • Carrying out a combustion test with flue analsyer and adjusting air intake
  • Checking if a carbon monoxide alarm is fitted and operational (if required)
  • Removal and cleaning of magnetic system filter (if fitted)
  • Any other system checks required
  • All service paperwork completed
